Installation and updates

Requirements

The recommended version requires macOS 14.0 or later. See the download page for the architectures available for each version.

Download

Install

  1. Download the file for your Mac from the download page.
  2. Open the downloaded disk image (.dmg). If you downloaded a ZIP archive, open it to unpack the app.
  3. Drag DuoNavigator onto the Applications folder.
  4. Eject the disk image, then open DuoNavigator from Applications or Launchpad.

If macOS won’t open the app

Versions marked “Notarized by Apple” on the download page should open normally. If macOS says it can’t verify the app, don’t work around the warning. Make sure you downloaded the file from this site, check its SHA-256 checksum, and contact us.

Verify the download

The download page lists a SHA-256 checksum for every file. In Terminal, run the command below (with your file’s name) and compare the result. A matching checksum shows the file is intact; it doesn’t replace Apple’s signature check.

shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/DuoNavigator-1.3.2-77-universal.dmg

Update

DuoNavigator doesn’t update itself. To update, download the new version, quit DuoNavigator, and drag the new app into Applications, replacing the old one. Your settings are kept.

Uninstall

Quit DuoNavigator and move it from Applications to the Trash.
